Jeff and Lee are dancers who met 20 years ago at a South Florida Swing Dance event in 1998. After a lifetime of excellent health, Lee has cancer. In 22 years, she only took off one week from work for the flu, which is remarkable.
In November of 2017, Lee went to the emergency room complaining of stomach pains. At that time, she was diagnosed with three ulcers and a small spot. By December 29th, the cancer had spread. Jeff's advice: "Never get sick around the holidays."
Jeff and Lee spend weeks at a time in a hospital that specializes in cancer treatment fighting to defeat this beast. As a result, they have not worked since November, have no income, and have used up all of their savings.
They need money to help Lee keep fighting for her life and pay their living expenses (mortgage, electricity, water, food, etc). The treatments are very expensive and we do not want them to lose their house on top of all of this.
