As many of you know, Jeff and Larae Amos have been together since high school. They have both been devoted animal lovers their entire lives and would give you the shirts off their backs if you were in need. No other couple defines true goodness, humbleness and selflessness better than Jeff and Larae.

As friends of Jeff and Larae, we have started this GoFundMe to help Jeff as he copes with the devastating and sudden loss of his wife AND his own severe medical issues. After suffering with his health for the past several weeks, Jeff was hospitalized for the past few days awaiting additional medical procedures scheduled for today. Jeff and Larae have always been a team; she had been by his side the entire time as they struggled to get answers for Jeff. As recently as Saturday evening, she was with him at the hospital, leaving only to go care for their three beagle fur babies.

Jeff became concerned on Sunday, 9/11, when Larae had not been to visit yet and he was unable to reach her at home. He asked a family member to go to his home and check on her and the dogs. Larae was found unresponsive and 911 was called. The doctors and family members were able to FaceTime with Jeff throughout the night and keep him updated on their course of treatment for Larae. Tragically, this morning, Jeff received the traumatic news that Larae had passed away.

He needs his family and friends more than ever as he begins to recover from his own physical ailments and unexpectedly has to learn to navigate life without Larae.
