Our co-worker, Jeff Alfonso, was suddenly and tragically taken from all of us Saturday, November 4th in his hometown of Vancouver Washington.
He was only 52.
A former police officer, Jeff would have celebrated 20 years with PGE next month. He started off helping to manage our inventory of desktop equipment when it used to take two people to lift a 21” monitor. He later moved into a planning role to order equipment, plan employee and equipment moves, coordinate with facilities and communication technicians for power and cabling. Chances are good that Jeff played some role in setting up the equipment or acquiring the software that you use today. He will be greatly missed by the many people who worked with him during his career here at PGE.
Jeff leaves behind his daughter, extended family and a multitude of friends. This memorial fund will help his daughter with addressing various expenses (medical, memorial / celebration of life). Any donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated.
