Jeff Alberti needs Iris Vision to combat blindness

I am raising money for Iris Vision glasses to help me with daily life, school, singing and possibly doing electrical work again.
Four years ago, I woke up one day and my vision was not clear. I went to the doctor and was told I had diabetic retinopathy and needed laser surgery to reattach my retinas that were detaching. My right retina was beyond saving and I have no vision in it. My left eye only has 15% center vision. So, I have NO peripheral vision or depth perception and am highly sensitive to light.
This has limited my mobility, shrunk my world to 15% of what most people see, but me in a box and caused me to fight severe depression. I cannot drive at all. This has been such a difficult 4 years. After being totally frozen in fear. I decided I had to adjust and do what I could to live my life to the fullest, even with the new limitations.
I've gone back to school to get retrained in CAD since you can't be an electrician with limited vision! I am also frontman for two Houston rock bands.
Iris Vision will help me regain some normalcy by providing 70% possible field of vision, as well as helping me to read forms, news, schoolwork, music, which are all a struggle right now. Even walking should be better since I will have a wider field of vision and better clarity. Knocking people down is no fun, unless you mean too!
