Jeff Akatshi Kassongo- Funeral

My name is Ryan Kassongo, and I am 23 years old.

On February 14th 2025, me, my mum and my three siblings tragically lost our father. My father was a kind, warm-hearted, wise and charismatic man who always put his family first. We were fortunate to have him home with us just before Christmas after he suffered a stroke on August 6th 2024. He spent four months in the hospital, fighting with incredible strength to return to us, and we are forever grateful that he was able to spend his final moments surrounded by family.

As the head of the family, it is now my responsibility to honor my father’s memory and ensure he receives the best possible farewell. I am reaching out to kindly ask for your support in helping to cover the costs of his funeral. Le 14 février 2025, mon frères, mes sœurs, ma mère et moi avons tragiquement perdu notre père. Mon père était un homme gentil, chaleureux, sage et charismatique qui faisait toujours passer sa famille en premier. Nous avons eu la chance de l'avoir à la maison avec nous juste avant Noël après avoir subi un accident vasculaire cérébral le 6 août 2024. Il a passé quatre mois à l'hôpital, se battant avec une force incroyable pour revenir vers nous, et nous sommes éternellement reconnaissants qu'il ait pu passer ses derniers instants entourés de sa famille.

En tant que chef de famille, il est maintenant de ma responsabilité d'honorer la mémoire de mon père et de m'assurer qu'il reçoive le meilleur adieu possible.
