Jeff, AJ, Hayden, Roxy & Desti

Hi, my name is Cece and I am fundraising for my son, Jeffrey, and his family. On June 4th, Jeff and AJ returned from church to find their home on fire. While Jeff was able to extinguish the flames, the entire house was engulfed in smoke. Everything they owned was smoke damaged - all of their clothes (including the suits Jeff had just bought second-hand for his new office job), furniture, mementos, and toys. Even the orders for AJ's limited edition bow company are ruined.

But even worse was that during the fires, their beloved dog, Destiel, was trapped in the house! Once he put the fire out, Jeff searched the smoke-filled house calling for Desti. He finally found him hiding in a corner, unconscious and unresponsive. The first 24 hours at the emergency vet were the hardest, but Desti is young and he pulled through. Currently, he is reunited with his family but still has trouble breathing, coughs up blood, and is extremely traumatized. He also has eye ulcers that will need continued treatment to prevent him from going blind.

Jeff, AJ, and the kids are currently staying in a hotel, and wonderful friends helped them with immediate needs like pajamas. But right now, in addition to Desti's ongoing care, they need everything, especially for Hayden and Roxy.

Since hearing about the fire, family & friends have been reaching out and asking how they can help Jeff, AJ, Hayden, Roxy, and Desti. Without a place to live for the next few months and nowhere to store packages and donated furniture or household items, the best help is cash donations. While the kids have not asked for anything, I know they are struggling with paying for Desti's care, replacing toys, clothes &activities for the kiddos, work clothes for Jeff, and just the necessities.
