Football player Jivan Gurung, who has won many titles and successes playing from local to national-level football tournaments, is now standing at a difficult turning point in his own life.

After his life partner—who had vowed to stay with him forever—was forced to battle a life-threatening disease, Jivan feels that his own life has reached a hard and painful stage. According to him, his wife is currently undergoing treatment for a deadly illness—blood cancer—in Bharatpur.

Millions of rupees have already been spent on her treatment, and with more funds still required, he has appealed to all well-wishers and football lovers for help. Jivan shared that after spending all his earnings from football and nearly everything he had, he was left with no choice but to seek support.

As a professional player, Jivan has represented Nepal’s famous clubs like Three Star Club, Manang Marshyangdi Club, and Sahara Club. Now, this defender is fighting a battle off the field—for the life of his beloved wife.
