- Hey, my name is Brittany. Our house had an electrical fire within the wall and caught the whole house on fire. Christmas is only a week away and all our Christmas presents for my 3 year old are gone, all of our belongings that survived the fire, didn’t survive the water flood out. We are starting from nothing with nothing salvaged. I only hope for a miracle so my little girl is not without a Christmas. I have no clue where we are going to live, and I’m on a fixed income. I have worked very hard for everything I have and I’m upset I even am asking for help, but not only do I not have a Christmas to offer my daughter, I don’t even have a home to provide for her at the moment either. All I want for Christmas is for my daughter to have the Christmas I tried so hard to give her and to be able to have a home again for my family.
- Thank you so much for everyone helping. This has been such a disaster and everyday I wake up and realize I’m not at home it just hasn’t gotten easier yet.
