My name is Taylor Poling. I am opening this gofundme for my brother and sister, Jed’s children, Jake and Abby Maichele, to support them through the tragic loss of their father.

On March 13th, Jed Maichele was murdered in his home. We are all in disbelief over the loss of our loved one and our family would appreciate any support from friends and the community that are able to provide.

Funds will be allocated towards a celebration of life for Jed, in addition to bills, utilities toward keeping up their father’s home so they may go visit it whenever they want, as well as the time they will be spending away from work and school while grieving the loss of their father.

Presently, our family is still planning and have not yet determined the date for his celebration of life but we will provide this information once the date is set.

EDIT: We have set a date for Jed’s Celebration of Life.

It will be on April 27th at 2pm. We will hold the celebration at his home. An event page will be made on Facebook closer to the date that will have the address for those that need it.

We are going to make it a potluck, so anything brought will be appreciated: drinks, food, ice, plates, etc.

Once I make the event page, those who are coming and can/want to contribute can post what they plan on bringing so we don’t end up with 20 packs of plates.
