The World's Scholar Cup is an international academic competition with more than 15,000 students participating from over 65 countries.
The competition is run each year over three rounds - firstly in regional centres, with qualifying students invited to the 'global' round which is hosted in major cities. Top performing students are then invited to the final round of the competition - the 'Tournament of Champions', held at Yale University.
Our team of Jayden Adams, Jed Gregory and Eathan Waters have been competing in the World's Scholar Cup program since 2019. We've studied hard, competed well, and even ran our own Scholar's Cup practice round when international travel was cancelled due to the COVID pandemic. This November, our team has been invited to take part in the 'Tournament of Champions', held at Yale University. We will compete against top students from around the world in a series of academic challenges, including team debating, collaborative writing, and an academic trivia-style event. We are honoured to have been invited to such a prestigious event, and it's sure to be the highlight of our schooling years!
We'd love your support so that we can compete at the World's Scholar Cup 'Tournament of Champions'.
Our trip to the US will not only give us an opportunity to compete in the tournament, but we'll also tour Yale University, visit Harvard and MIT, and find out more about the admission process for Ivy League colleges as we consider our academic future after we finish at school.
