In Loving Memory of Jearell Lee Kimbell

On Sunday, September 10, 2023, we had to say goodbye to the best Dad in the entire universe. Our Dad was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS) in January of 2022. There are no current cures for the disease, and the end result is always fatal. But that didn't stop him from working towards fighting back and getting stronger. He was always known to be a fighter and didn't want to give up without giving it his all. He worked incredibly hard towards getting stronger in hopes that eventually a cure would be found, or he could overcome the disease. Unfortunately, his body wasn't able to keep up with the disease as he peacefully passed away in the ICU.

Our Dad was someone who always found a way to bring a smile to someone's face. His silliness and sense of humor were something that everyone around him cherished. He loved going for walks and working on things around the house. No matter the problem, he would find a way to fix it whilst having the biggest smile. Nothing could stop our Dad from doing the things he loved, and we all loved that about him. You could be sure to find his favorite desserts stashed away so he could save them for later. Or you could find him on his favorite chair watching one of the many submarine movies he loved. There were many passions and hobbies he loved, but to him, family always came first. He was always there to guide us; to teach us; and to provide for us. He was our Rockstar; our Protector; and our Hero. We miss him so much, but we know he's peacefully traveling the cosmos. Eating his favorite foods and embarking on awesome adventures. Fly high, Dad. We love you so much.
