Hello! My name is Jean Ponce and I am currently heading to my fourth year at CalArts! I am here to get support from people, artists, willing donators, and people who find interest in helping me finish my last year here at my school.

My tuition is heading to a very steep amount ($30,000) and I cannot seem to pay this year off, even with support from my family.

Funds will go directly to college tuition and nothing else. It will be used for whatever my university charges me per semester, if I happen to have any leftover it'll be saved until the spring semester.

My dad is my only source of income, as he works as a mechanic in South LA. Him being able to support me at all, and being able to pay my past three years here, has been nothing short of a miracle, but now he is getting older and cannot keep up with the economy, and it is time to reach out for help from the community of people online!

I've been working towards my Bachelor's in Fine Arts - Music, and have learned a lot. I hope to graduate and become a teacher or professor, in hopes to teach future musicians and give them a chance to express themselves musically.

Anything really helps, seriously... even ten dollars, a dollar... whatever you can give me it'll do me wonders, and it'll truly mean a lot to me and my family as I am a first-generation college student in my family.
