Jeannine Enders-Martin Hurricane Ian Recovery

Hello, my name is Peg. I need your help to support Jeannine Enders-Martin in a time of crisis.

My dear friend Deanna Martin and her brother Derrick rushed to Port Charlotte, Florida, on September 30th in the wake of Hurricane Ian to find their mama Jeannine. You see, Jeannine's home was in the eye of the storm. Thankfully during the hurricane, Jeannine could move to a safe place in an Airbnb Deanna had rented for her.

Unfortunately, during the height of the storm, Jeannine had a medical emergency. 911 services could not reach her, so her friend Rick traveled the flooded roads to get her to the hospital. Jeannine spent several days in the ICU and has since been transferred to a rehab facility in St. Petersburg.

Jeannine's home was destroyed. When she recovers from this medical emergency, she will need to rebuild her life in Ohio. Deanna has been by her mom's side every day, has spent thousands of dollars on hotels, gas, food, etc., and is quickly running out of paid time off work. Deanna is determined to stay in FL as long as needed while Jeannine recovers.

Deanna and Derrick desperately want to bring Jeannine back to Ohio and are exploring the option of an air ambulance since Jeannine doesn't have the strength to travel by car from FL to OH.
