Hi My name is Kayo Martinez. I am fundraising to help cover medical costs for my mother-in-law Jeannie Aguon Martinez's Open Heart Surgery. Last year October 8, 2022, my mother-in-law suffered a heart attack. She has been seen by an Off island Cardiologist there in Guam and she is now being referred off-island to California for open heart surgery so she can receive the care she needs currently unavailable in Guam. An Angiogram was done last month which shows that on the right side of her heart, the arteries have a blockage of 90 % and on the left side is a 60% blockage in her arteries. For anyone who knows my mother-in-law, she was always up and around either helping a family or a friend decorate for a gathering or cooking for the family. My mother-in-law is one of the strongest people I know, but time pauses for no one to heal properly. Despite the considerable toll this process has already taken on her, you won't hear her complaining about her pain. To this day as much as she is going thru it, she still finds ways to make her kids smile and call her granddaughter daily as thou as she is not in pain. We like to keep that strength, smile and heart around for as long as possible. To make that a reality, we humbly ask for your help. We Thank you so much, and we appreciate all the support.
