Jeannie's Leukemia Journey

After a month of fatigue, abdominal pain and random bruising, my beautiful friend Jeannie went to her Doctor. Lab work was ordered and Jeannie just figured he was going to tell her to get better rest and take a multivitamin. He called her once the labs came in and told her to check into Mercy Medical Center immediately. Within the next few hours she was diagnosed with Leukemia and flown down to UC Davis where they have ran more tests and are preparing her plan of care. 

Jeannie is an amazing Mom to 3 young boys, a phenomenal wife, daughter, sister and friend. She is a Registered Nurse,  by far one of the best I have had the privilege to work with. She is also the families breadwinner. Her husband Aaron has been at her side at UC Davis while her parents are taking care of the boys at home. 

The emotional toll is enough to break anyone.  Jeannie's not one to ask for help, so I am doing it for her. This family is solid and tough as nails but will need help financially as neither are working at this time as well as travel, hotel rooms and medical expenses that are soon to start rolling in.
