On April 20, Jeannie Pena was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has spread to her liver and is beginning to spread to her stomach. The doctors said they can’t say whether it will be six months, a year or two years that Jeannie still has, but we, her friends, aren’t going to stand for this. We are fighting for Jeannie and hope you will join our fight. We’re going to hit this cancer from every angle to give Jeannie the best possible chance at life.
This GoFundMe is to raise money to help Jeannie and her family as they battle cancer. Jeannie is a sweet, compassionate and generous mother, wife and friend. She has a huge servant’s heart. She volunteers at school as much as she can and helps in her son's classroom. She also volunteers at her church serving 3rd grade students as their small group leader. She works two part time jobs to help her family make ends meet and is a kind, loving, fantastic and devoted mother to her two sweet kids. Her son is in 3rd grade and her daughter is in 7th grade. She and her husband Pablo have been married 29 years.
These funds will directly help the Pena family pay for medical bills, time off work as well as alternative treatments that Jeannie intends to try. Alternative treatments will initially include a clean, organic, no sugar, no processed diet, as well as cleaning and self care products with no harmful chemicals or carcinogens, supplements, essential oils and anything else we can think of to throw at it.
As we said, we are fighting for Jeannie’s life. We are not giving in to cancer. We won’t stop believing Jesus for a miracle for Jeannie and we hope you won’t either. When she is fearful or doubting, we will be standing in the gap, believing she will be healed of this massively scary disease. Let’s ask Jesus for the miracle of total healing. We know he can. We’re praying he will. Please join us as we go to battle.
