Hello there! My dear cousin Jeannie Heafner was diagnosed with Breast Cancer last week. The biopsy has diagnosed this as one of the "most aggressive cancers" there is in regards to Breast Cancer. Knowing that this horrible disease runs in our family Jeannie just completed her annual mammogram this last March (2015) and it came back "Clear". A few weeks ago she woke up with a lump in her breast. It doesn't matter who you are, how careful you are, cancer has a mind of it's own.
As many of you know Jeannie is a fighter! She has been fighting for years to live a life that includes freedom of choices, freedom to love whomever she wants and the freedom to also have a "Family" of her own. These dreams have all come true just in the last few months.
Jeannie and Jess are expecting "Baby Will" at the end of December! We are ALL SO VERY EXCITED! This is going to be one spoiled baby BOY!
As these things that are so simple for some of us are finally coming true for one of the most beautiful couples I know this devastating disease has hit this family.
Unfortunately Jeannie will need to go on disability in the next few weeks as she begins a very aggressive treatment plan to beat this disease. She and Jess have all but depleted their life savings to bring "Baby Will" into this world. Many of us did what we could to help them.
This GOFUNDME Account will be used to help Jeannie and Jess meet their basic needs (food, utilities, mortagage and medical bills) as Jeannie is out of work for her cancer treatment and as Jess delivers this beautiful Baby Boy "Will" into this world.
My wish is that they can focus on the Beauty that is about to come into their life and not worry about Bills, Work or Money as they go through this fight.
