With the passing of our beloved Jeannie Fitch Orr, a forever Scholarship is being set up at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in her memory. https://www.utrgv.edu/en-us/
The "Jeannie Fitch Orr Endowment in Education" will support students in The College of Education pursuing a degree in Bilingual Education. Every year, this scholarship will deliver assistance to an underprivileged student seeking to advance their personal and professional endeavors through higher education.
A preference will be given to graduates of Sharyland High School.
