Hi, my name is Nina, and I'm raising funds for my dear friend and honorary sister,

Jeannie.is an amazing person and I know if she gets a second chance at life she will continue giving back to our community and touching our lives again.

Jeannie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. She had a bilateral mastectomy. Had 6 surgeries and it was a complicated experience.

during one of her surgeries they punctured her left lung which was undetected for 2 weeks because she was full of stitches and was in a lot of pain from surgery. It was difficult to breathe so she went to emergency room where they found her pneumothorax (left lung). During surgery to try and correct it they diagnosed her to having Alpha 1, a genetic form of COPD.

she then was told she needed a dual lung transplant but had to be cancer free for 5 years. Which was 3 years away. It is a long story including multiple hospital visits and COVID, Pneumonia, CO2 poisoning, Chemical pneumonia. She was at deaths door a couple times. With the love and support from family and friends.

She has a lot of expenses

and being on oxygen her very high electric bill including discounts she receives is still extremely expensive.

she needs help with in home services, and expenses for the chores she can no longer do. Transportation, medical equipment and services.
