Hello family & friends,
I really hope you all take the time to read this story in regards to a very special person to me and I’m sure to many more that I know have crossed paths with her. This loving person that I love with all my heart & soul is in need of our help. Mrs. Jeannette Lopez, my friend who has become a part of my family, is the most selfless person I have ever known in my life. Her kindness and generosity to everyone are definitely a gift from above. Jeannette is a very hard-working woman who loves her family and works nonstop to provide for them, even while ill.
Jeannette in the past year has exhausted all of her sick leave taking care of others including her son, who thank God is doing well now, and both her mother and father. Her parents are now living with her, and above her own needs, this woman is still currently working and afterward comes home to bathe and feed her parents with the help of her daughter and husband.
It breaks my heart to know that Jeannette called me to tell me that she had another, “bump in the road” to overcome. When I asked, “what is it, my friend?” Jeannette told me she has been experiencing dizziness, headaches, and memory loss, and after seeing her doctor she was referred for an MRI and CT scan. A bump was found on Jeannette‘s head, and she was diagnosed with meningioma, a primary central nervous system (CNS) tumor. This means it begins in the brain or spinal cord. Meningioma is an aggressive brain tumor that will need to be removed. Jeannette is scheduled to have surgery at the end of July and will be out of work for 2-months or more, and at that time FMLA will be in place to protect her job, but it is without pay. I want to ask all my family and friends to please help with whatever your heart desires and make a difference in this amazing woman’s life, who gives so much and that needs us now.
Thank you so much and may God bless you!
