Hi, my name is Jeannette. I have been diagnosed with Poly Neuropathy and have limited mobility since the onset. I have been approved for a specialized Complex Power Wheelchair by my insurance and MediCal, but I have a monthly ‘shared cost’ with MediCal of $1282.00 . Before the wheelchair can be delivered my ‘shared cost’ portion of MediCal’s responsibility toward the total cost of the wheelchair must be paid. I rely solely on my Social Security income for living expenses and can’t meet the copayment cost. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated and improve my quality of life.
