Jeanne & Steve need a helping hand

I am reaching out to all of you as Jeanne and Steve need some help!

They have always been there to help in 50/50's and fundraisers. I do believe it's our turn to return the favor.

In January of 2020 Steve collapsed at home and was sent by ambulance as he had a hard time coming around. He stayed one day at the hospital and they did a bunch of test and they said they had not found nothing. Then he proceeded as his normal life going to work coming home and doind his regular activity.

6 months later it happened again at home he dropped again and he stayed for a few days and then was followed by specialists so they could investigate with further testing.

Still no answers to what was going on. It's like it was a mystery to the doctor's and specialists.

So again he went about with his life and then again it happened at work and Jeanne was called to go get him at work and she brought him to a different hospital witch was the city and then they kept for 7 days.

So when they came back the specialist she said that she thought it was seizer's. So they put him on medication and took his license away. So after that he was sent home again.

Since then Steve has been in rough shape and falling into a lot of trans. He is being sent now for dementia testing , Alzheimer's testing and also the brain diseases.

Steve cannot operate anything that has a motor. His life has changed tremendously.

He will never regain the normality of life.

In all of this there is only a small disability pension coming in and it certainly doesn't cover bills. So in all of this Jeanne had to change a lot of her life to me sure Steve could do certain things with supervision and to keep him stimulating as doing things around the house that where not to hard and to keep him sort of human. Steve has found it hard as he feels he was a bother to everyone. Friends and family would come around to make him feel that he was never a bother to nobody.

Steve at one point you would ask for help he was always there to help. Now he can't and it is really takes a lot out of him.

So while this is going on Jeanne was experiencing pain on her left side. Her doctor thought it might be a infection again from her intestine. She had a surgery in 2019 and they had removed 4 inches and was hospitalized for 5 days.

So because she had pain her specialist decided to send her for a scan.

So 5 days later she gets a call from her family doctor that they had found something but they had to run more test. So the testing started right away. Unfortunately the tests started, she had a CT scan and the same day she went for this test she got the call from the specialist and got the worst call everyone doesn't like to hear. They had found Cancer on her kidney.

So they decided to make more test to see if she had it elsewhere. Thankfully she didn't.

Well they didn't loose time for the operation they did it wright away. What was hard for Jeanne is that she had only started working for 4 weeks to her seasonal job. She was stress out as bills are still coming in and her husband was sick and to top it all off she finds out she has cancer and she has to stop working. Being on EI and only a small disability coming in is really hard.

Jeanne and Steve have always helped people with anything and everything. I do believe it's our turn to return the favor and help them for medical expenses , appointments to doctor's and bills. It would relieve some stress on them both.

So let's help them and show them everyone is here for them.

Any dollar helps. If you cannot donate then we are completely understanding of that and ask if you would consider sharing this for Jeanne & Steve!
