Hello, my name is Michel DeJean and I am helping my sister, Jeanne' Marie DeJean, raise money for her unexpected medical expenses. On December 27th 2022, I received a text message from Jeanne's oldest daughter, Kayla Armstrong Varnado, that Jeanne's colonoscopy had revealed a 7 centimeter mass that was cancerous. Jeanne's treatment plan will consist of 12 weeks of chemotherapy, receiving treatments every other week, and then weekly treatments of chemo and radiation for 4-6 weeks. Once this is completed the doctors will do another scan to see if the tumor can be surgically removed. Jeanne' has completed her first week of chemotherapy, and already, her out of pocket cost has exceeded $8,500. We are hoping to help her with these medical expenses that are quickly piling up on her and any other expenses that are sure to come. We want her to be able to concentrate on getting well and not worry about the financial strain. As all of you know Jeanne' is a very proud independent woman who has taken pride in always taking care of Kayla and Ashley, her daughters. She is an in love "Zsa Zsa" to Lincoln James Varnado, her first grandchild, Archie the golden doodle and another sweet grandbaby due in May!
