Thank you so much for praying for my momma❤
Last Monday morning  mom woke up with a terrible headache and nauseated. Josh decided to take her to Pennock that evening as she wasn't getting better and wasn't talking clearly. He called me,  and cede and I rushed there. Pennock did a CT scan and found that she had a brain aneurysm that had ruptured. We decided to airlift her to Butterworth in GR so they could insert a drainage tube to relieve the pressure. Josh and I spoke with the team of Dr.'s working on her and we were very confident she would pull through. She was alittle confused/ disoriented until Thursday, she wasn't sure who she was, who we were or where she was and why she was there.  She did however know that daffodils are yellow and the words to "sunshine on my shoulders"❤ On Wednesday I showed her a picture of Angel when she was 10 and asked her who this  was??? She smiled and said "Angel".  By Thursday when Josh  and I walked in she said both of our names . I asked her several questions and she knew most of the answers. She was getting better we thought!!!❤ Within 20 minutes she declined and was taken in for a procedure to open the brain vessels as they were spasming and restricting the blood flow to her brain. They warned us this may happen but there was a procedure that might help. She had the procedure friday afternoon, which was successful. Then again Saturday morning, again successful. She was singing "Spirit in the sky" afterwards. She was awake and talking to Josh and I Saturday and seemed to be back to her funny sarcastic self. She even got a chance to video chat with cede and her girls. China and her children as well as her niece Brooke. They called early Sunday morning and said mom was not responding and they were taking her in again to do the procedure that morning. During the procedure they had to put her back on the breathing tube. They believe she had a stroke either before or during the procedure. This time the procedure was unsuccessful. She fought a good, long hard fight. There was just nothing more they could do. Mom's wishes were to never live on a  machine. So Josh and I  had to make the hardest decision of our lives.  We had to say goodbye to our momma.. She passed away peacefully with Josh, cede and I by her side..... Our hearts are broken. Funeral arrangements are being made through Daniel's funeral home. Of course we weren't ready for this and as most of you know I don't like to ask for help.  Today I'm asking...... Thank you again for all of your thoughts and prayers❤
