Jeanne and Jim lost everything to Hurricane Ian

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Wendell, and I started this fundraising effort for Jeanne Keckler and Jim Burford. I am a friend of Jeanne's from when she lived in the NW US. They lost everything except their car and just a few possessions they grabbed as they evacuated before hurricane Ian submerged their mobile home, resulting in a total loss. They are currently safe outside the disaster zone of Naples, Florida, which used to be their home. They are starting from scratch and would be grateful for any help they could get. Funds will be used to cover living expenses, replace lost belongings, and with a stretch goal to get them started toward new permanent housing.

More about Jeanne: Jeanne has tutored special needs children for years. She also taught art classes and continues to add to a large body of work, including fine art and home decor. You may purchase her art directly at jeannekeckler.com.

More about Jim: Jim was trained as an Architect, then re-tooled to teach middle school, then combined his skills to teach industrial and interior design at the Art Institute - Seattle. Jim has been interested in living small and living green before it reached current popularity.
