I am thrilled to announce that I have decided to participate in the July 2017 program of Up With People.  Up With People (UWP) is an international education program developed to bring young people together from around the world to promote positive change in communities. For 2 semesters I will travel the world, perform in a show for each city, participate in countless hours of community service, make friends from all over the world and learn about their culture. In addition, I will be able to take online college courses through UWP to continue my education.

I’ve always loved this program and it’s been my dream to be part of this organization since I was about 12 years old. My parents met through Up With People in cast A of 1987. My cousin, Mallory, was apart of casts A and B of 2013. As for me, I was able to attend Camp Up With People the past 3 summers and got a taste of what the actual program would be like. Each year was an incredible, unforgettable experience and I’m beyond excited for the actual program.

My goal is $26,000 for 2 semesters of Up With People. I’ve been doing a lot to raise money toward the UWP tuition. I’ve started a part time job as well as tons of babysitting. I’m putting on a fundraising show that will be held at my church on February 25th and I am planning on applying for a couple different UWP scholarships. Even with all of this, I will still need a lot more support. I am seeking your financial help for my tour with Up With People. Any assistance you provide will go directly toward my program costs and will be of great value in helping me achieve this opportunity of a lifetime.
