Officer Jean-Mary Jean-Baptiste has been with the City of Opa-locka Police Department almost two years. He recently went in for a small medical procedure and was found to have Stage 3 Liver Cancer. He was totally unprepared to receive this terrible news.  The very word "Cancer" is scary to everyone. Jean Mary, if you know him, is a hard worker, never calls out sick or even takes a vacation. He is always the first to offer his help, unconditionally. Let’s join together to help him fight this terrible disease.   Serving the community through his police career is his lifelong dream.  Jean Mary has a good heart, is a strong fighter and wants to get back to his family and career.
