Hello everyone- my name is Tracie Palmieri Tobacco. My sister, Jeanette, was recently diagnosed with Stage IV non-small cell adenocarcinoma (lung cancer) that metastasized to her brain, adrenal glands, left hip and lower spine. She has a relatively rare mutation, which occurs in only 3% of patients. Sometimes, life throws us curveballs and we're dealt a bad hand. However, it's all about how you respond to it. Jeanette remains positive as she receives weekly treatments. To say she is a warrior is an understatement! This fundraiser has been started to help raise funds to support treatments outside of what insurance will pay for and quality of life as she battles this terrible disease.
