As most of you will know by now, my mother-in-law Jeanette Banfield sadly passed away on the evening of 28th April 2026. She leaves behind her three sons and 5 Grandchildren who were her whole world.

Jeanette reached so many people's lives, and despite having flaws (as we all do), she would do anything for anyone. She helped people in their hour of need, no questions asked, and she had been a shoulder to cry on and voice of reason for so so many people. I don't think a trip to Morrisons was complete without her stopping to chat to at least 3 people along the way.

As you can imagine, her death has come as a complete shock, and the family were not prepared. There is no funeral plan in place and no costs have been covered. I've made this go-fund-me for them to help with funeral costs, giving her a great send off as she deserves. This will relieve her family of any stress and give them peace of mind at this difficult time.

Any money left over will be donated to 2 charities close to our hearts, Diabetes UK and British Heart Foundation.
