My sister, Jean Cherubini, was recently diagnosed with invasive cervical cancer, and now she is in the fight of her life. Jean moved to San Diego in January 2012 with the hope of getting her Masters Degree in acupuncture. She was successful in her goal of completing the program, and most recently was finishing her Masters Degree in nutrition. However, that all changed late August 2018.
As Jean was studying and preparing to sit for her Boards, she was overcome with unbearable pain. Unfortunately, as an independent contractor, her insurance was very unreliable. After three different types of insurance, she finally got insurance that would work for her and help her see the doctors she needed to see.
Jean has been unable to work full time since August. She will be having surgery soon and will incur many out of pocket expenses in addition to her regular monthly expenses. Jean is doing everything she can to heal herself organically, but will be limited due to lack of funds.
For those who know us, asking for help is not in our nature, but this time is different. We need your help! Please consider making a donation to help my sister with her out of pocket and day-to-day expenses. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.
