We recently lost a deeply valued member of our school community, our beloved school nurse, Jean Stoodley. Jean cared for our students and staff with compassion, patience, and an unwavering commitment to their well-being. Her kindness, quick wit, and steady presence made a lasting impact on our campus, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

To honor Jean’s memory and the care she showed to so many students, we are establishing the Jean Stoodley Memorial Scholarship Fund. This scholarship will support a graduating student from Lompoc High who demonstrates compassion, service to others, and an interest in health care, community care, or helping professions. Through this fund, we hope to continue Jean’s legacy of kindness and dedication by supporting students who share her passion for helping others.

We invite staff, friends, and community members to contribute to this scholarship fund. Donations of any amount are appreciated and will help create a meaningful legacy that reflects the spirit of care Jean brought to our school every day.
