It is with a sad and heavy heart that we report that our mother, Jean Angela Simmonds Oliver, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023. Our mother was a woman with a strong spirit and a kind heart. She strived for excellence in all that she did and she left an impression on everyone that met her. Jean, affectionally known as "Peaches" was full of life and fun. She was quick-witted and always enjoyed a good laugh. Our mother is survived by her mother, Phyllis Drake, her brothers Val, Junior, Mark and Huey and her four children, Safiya, Omri, Kai, Monifa, her grandaughter, Olivia and her extended family in Jamaica, the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and worldwide. She will be missed but not forgotten. All funds raised will now go to cover our mother's funeral expenses. Thank you in advance for all your help and your prayers.
