The Sidibe family lost their beloved patriarch (husband, father, father in law and grandfather) on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 in Cartersville Georgia. Jean Sidibe was not only a devoted father to his children—-(Abdoulaye, Rachid, Habata Elise and Djeneba Ines), he was an amazing person, a mentor and role model to many. With his charisma, kindness, humility and dedication to people, he constantly spread love, joy and laughter through every human interaction. Jean Sidibe was willing to always give his last to that person in need because that’s who he was. His love of God and others guided his exemplary life and he was a pillar to so many.

Jean Sidibe’s last wish was to be laid to rest at home. As his grieving children prepare for the difficult journey of getting him back to his native Burkina Faso, we ask for your prayers and support. We will share details related to his return home and life celebration arrangements as they become available as planning is still underway.
