Help the Senger Family After the Loss of Their Beloved Jean

Hi everyone,

I’m writing this on behalf of a family that means a lot to me and to so many people in our community — the Senger family from Southey.

A few days ago, they lost their rock. Jean Senger passed away after an incredibly hard battle with cancer. She was a wife, a mom, a grandmother and a friend. She had a heart full of love and a strength that never wavered, even in the hardest times. Jean made everyone feel welcome. She was a warm and steady presence who cared deeply for her family and her community.

Her husband, Terry, was by her side every step of the way. He’s one of the most hard-working, selfless, and kind-hearted people you’ll ever meet. Terry worked incredibly hard throughout their life together to support their family. Together, they raised a beautiful family — their daughter Brittney, their son Pat, three young grandsons and one grand-daughter who adored their grandmother beyond measure.

As if the grief of losing Jean wasn’t enough, the family recently learned that the life insurance policy they had been paying into for years only covers accidental death. That means there’s no financial support to help with funeral expenses or the unexpected costs they’re now facing.

The Sengers have always been the kind of family who show up for others. They’ve quietly given so much to this town — helping neighbors, raising their kids with strong values, and supporting this community however they could. Now it’s our turn to show up for them.

We’re asking for your help to cover the cost of Jean's celebration of life and end of life expenses, and to give the Senger family some breathing room while they grieve and begin to rebuild. Every little bit helps, and if you can’t donate right now, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.
