Hi, I am a colleague of Jean Christian. She is a wonderful mother of three children ages 7,10, and 15. Jean has always been independent and has always tried to make it work on her own. She isn't known to ask for help so this is something out of her comfort zone. She's working full time and as costs are going up she needs some help.

In the last month, she has been having a hard time getting back on her feet from a neighbour fire. This fire left her apartment unlivable and the landlord isn't doing anything to help. When she was finally able to move back in, her landlord left her with no water or gas in the apartment. When they turned the water on, the pipes broke leaving the basement flooding. She refused to pay half the rent because she didn't have a place to stay for weeks, then she had a very unsafe place for her children to stay. The landlords answer to this was giving her an eviction notice and a late fee. After all this, Jean is really at a lost on what to do or how much she can handle now.

She cannot afford a full move at the moment but this fundraiser would help a lot. It would help get a damage deposit and first month's rent so she can find a safe place to live with her family. Please take a moment and donate any amount and let's help Jean!
