Jean Claude's Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
Growing up in Haiti, Jean Claude didn't have much, but he had love in abundance. That's what makes him a great husband, father, brother, friend, and a philanthropist. As a child, we would run to my mom and complain about everything. Especially about our food portion, because there was eleven of us kids. Jean Claude would never say anything about the size of his plate. Which says a lot because he is the 2nd youngest of our large family. No matter what we faced whether it be hunger, financial struggle or just a bad day in itself Jean Claude never complained and always saw the good in it all. All through his life he has continued to display this unselfish character even to this day at 48 years old.
Sometimes, people think that a super hero has to be someone who can fly or one with powers. Our brother Jean Claude has neither one of those abilities but is every bit of a super hero. Some have Iron Man and we have Jean Claude. He is a simple loving person with a big heart. He's soft spoken yet no word is ever wasted. He's supportive in every way pushing his family to reach beyond their dreams. He is more like an apostle who not only preaches the word, but also putting those words into action, Living life with Agape love.
With his meager salary he stretches it out to feed the homeless, send Bibles to the prisoners, help build medical and educational facilities in Haiti, help pay for school fees for children in Haiti, sending help for disaster relief, council family, friends, and evangelize every Sunday. Every Thanksgiving Jean Claude identifies which family in his community is in need. Then he cooks, and will go from door to door and makes sure each family gets their dinner for the holiday.
Jean Claude is not only a father to his four children but one to his nieces and nephews. He's a staple in the community and our personal angel on earth.
We could go on and on, but there are not enough words in any dictionary to express how important our brother is to us and to those who love him.
It is with deep sadness to announce that our brother is 48 years old and has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. We are heartbroken, devastated, needless to say speechless.
We question why him? He never smoked, doesn't do drugs nor drink. How did that happen to? Now as we seek God for counsel and peace we know that faith without works is dead.
With this it is imperative we move quickly because the cancer has spread over the whole lung. We found a center outside of the states that is specializes in the type of lung cancer Jean Claude has been diagnosed with.
We're taking a leap of faith. We have no time to waste. We are asking our family and friends to please help us fund our brother's health expenses and assist us with saving his life.
We need you. He needs you.
When a community comes together we can do great things in adversity.
Please help us save our hero.
