Jean lived her best life.
She loved engaging in a competitive tennis match 3 days a week, playing mahjong, watching the Golden State Warriors, traveling the world with our dad, and running the restaurant together for over 40 years.
She consistently spoke of her gratitude towards the communities that gave her so much love and support, including her 9 siblings and their families across the globe in LA, Toronto, Taipei, Indonesia and Austria, friends & parents from East Bay Chinese School, teammates at Oakland Hills Tennis Club, staff at the Rockridge Cafe, Rong Rong group, and longtime college friends from National Taiwan University.
We will miss her caring, warm, positive and generous spirit, but most importantly we will cherish her for being our mom.
To celebrate her life, the family would like to request that anyone who wishes to send gifts or flowers, that instead consider to donate to this fundraiser that will support these great causes:
- Bay Area Asian organizations (EBALDC, AYPAL, Oakland Asian Cultural Center, Stop AAPI Hate)
- Tennis (Youth Tennis Advantage, USTA Foundation)
- Beat cancer (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network)
