Josh Weisel- Coming back from a fire
Donation protected
Due to an unforeseen tragedy the place Joshua called home recently burned down. In a matter of seconds not only was the housing completely lost but all of the contents. Ranging from sentimental valuables due to recent deaths in the family, to all their clothing and school supplies as well as technology needed for school. Joshua is starting this fall with his first semester back into college seeking a degree toward social work with an end goal of trauma therapy. School begins on the 22nd of August so we must move on this. Please help him out!!
He has nothing left.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On August 7th, Joshua got the call that nobody ever wants to get.
His home was on fire with all of his worldly possessions inside of it. It burnt down in minutes, taking with it objects of immeasurable sentimental value to recent deaths in the family, meticulously gathered school supplies and technology for his upcoming first semester in college, and all of his clothing.
Over the last year, Joshua has worked tirelessly to get back on his feet, find housing (despite the gross inaccessibility in the current Boise housing market), and enroll in classes at the College of Western Idaho. All while working through the excruciatingly difficult task of readjusting after being incarcerated.
To come home to this was nothing short of devastating. He has nothing left.
Joshua needs clothing, shoes, bedding, technology, school supplies, housing, cell phone, television, furniture and other things we can’t remember.
Cashew, his dog, was fortunately with him, so she is fine. However, all of her toys are gone, and she, too is sad.
Thank you so much for helping Joshua out! It is hard for a mom to watch this happening, so I, too, am very grateful!!
