Hey Y’all, this is “I Have One White Spot”

he is an extremely courageous 15-year-old registered paint gelding. We met him in September at the Colorado kill pen. He absolutely had not one mean bone in his body, standing in the corner around hundreds of other horses. He never asked for more, but when his fans would come and visit, they’d bring him some hay. He was always so grateful when he felt like someone was reaching out to him.

After too many weeks of being there, we decided it was time for him to have a safe landing, and I knew we could give him all the tender, loving care to bounce back to life.

The sad thing is he didn’t come to the kill pen looking healthy, he got a few knicks here and there, but most of his wounds are from whoever had him before. They are old and deep. He has gone through so much and he deserves a chance.

At this point, he has a pretty good open infection on his back right hip, will definitely need antibiotics, and I would love to help him remove his blind eye. He will be seen by Littleton Large Animal hospital to get him some proper vet care, any donation that you make will go straight into his vet bills and care.

He would also love for you to come up and see him as he enjoys company and healing touch.
