£4,100 raised of

Anthony Taylor

A son. A brother. An uncle. A friend. A part of our community.

Hello, my name is Jo and I’m writing this on behalf of Anthony's Family and friends and a proud community that have come together over the years to support and care for someone who meant something to them.

Anthony was homeless for a long time. Loosing both his parents he battled severe mental health issues and struggled with alcohol dependency for much of his adult life. But those things do not define who he was. He was a person—with a name, a story, a family member , and he had a heart that kept beating despite the pain life threw at him.
He was a son, a brother, an uncle, and for many people a friend. He had his struggles, yes—but he also had a heart.
Childhood friends still looked out for Anthony . One of his childhood friends was trying so desperately hard to get Anthony into rehab but sadly he never made it.
Local shopkeepers would check in on him and share a coffee with him.
Anthony was more than JUST a familiar face. In a world that so often looks away, we chose to see him—and he saw us too.

Despite the darkness he carried, Anthony had moments of deep kindness. He reminded us that every human being deserves dignity, no matter their circumstances.

Sadly, Anthony passed away on 25th September 2025 and with family unable to cover the cost of a burial, it’s our turn to come together one final time—to give him the dignified goodbye he never would’ve asked for, but deeply deserves. Unless you have done some horrendous things in your life, nobody deserves a paupers funeral.
We are raising funds to cover the costs of a basic funeral and memorial, so that his family and our community can lay him to rest with love and dignity. The goal is to raise £2000 which will go directly toward funeral expenses and helping his people, who TRULY knew him say goodbye properly.

We know times are tough, but even the smallest donation helps. If you simply believe in the importance of honoring every life, please consider giving—and sharing this page.
Let’s prove that even in the hardest of lives, there is still beauty, still love, and still community.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring.
With gratitude,
Jo
