On August 10th 2021 Walter was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. If you don't know him, understand that he's a very caring and devoted father. He's a chiropractor and a teacher of biology at a local Community College. He is passionate about life an avid Outdoorsman.who loves hiking and finding waterfalls and of course powerlifting.

Due to the nature of the upcoming chemotherapy that he will endure, it was recommended that he discontinue work. The goal of this fundraiser is to help Walter and his family with any financial burdens that will be coming up in the near future. The oncologist said he is a candidate for immunotherapy, however it is not covered by the insurance company and it's going to be a long costly process.
