28 mei 2024 is een zwarte bladzijde voor de LEGO community. Het multi-miljarden bedrijf heeft zonder pardon de kleine online verkoper HA Bricks uit Groningen voor de rechter gedaagd en gewonnen!

HA bricks, Hein Alkema moet naast de €16.000,- proceskosten ook zijn eigen advocaat en extra kosten betalen van bijna €30.000,-

Hein is(was) een fervent Adult Fan Of Lego die door zijn ontwerptalent treinen begon te verkopen. Om deze treinen steeds beter en accurater te maken is hij ze zelf gaan bedrukken verpakken in mooie dozen en lagers toe gaan voegen.

Juist hier is LEGO over gevallen! Onder de claims valt onder andere ook dat de foto op de doos van het product teveel lijkt op hoe LEGO zijn producten verkoopt! Pure waanzin maar toch heeft LEGO op een paar punten gewonnen en daarmee HA Bricks ten gronde gericht.

Ik kan dit als LEGO fan moeilijk verkroppen en wil daarom vragen aan u om uw “steentje” bij te dragen om Hein Alkema zelf, van de ondergang te redden!

This is exactly why LEGO wanted to stop him! The barrage of claims even included that the “photo on the product box is too similar to how LEGO sells its products”! Pure madness, but LEGO still won on a few points and thus destroyed HA Bricks.

As LEGO fans, this was a slap in all our faces and would therefore like to ask you to add your “brick” to save Hein Alkema!
