With a heavy heart I reach out to all who read this and ask for donations to help cover the costs of final expenses and to help our son pave a new path forward.
His life long love and our sunshine passed away unexpectedly while taking some time for themselves to celebrate his birthday and the new year. Vanessa was a sweetheart of a woman with a heart of gold. She was always concerned for others and could brighten the darkest night with her smile. She was an uplifting spirit for me personally throughout my fights against cancer. During my darkest times, she would give me a kiss on the forehead, give me one of her smiles then give me a "hi handsome" when chemo was doing it's worst to me. It seemed as though she wished she could carry some of my pain, probably not realizing she was doing just that simply by being near. She would get nose to nose with me and tell me "you're a soldier, FIGHT!". I can still hear her voice.
She can not be replaced, she was one of a kind and I know God has a beautiful new Angel by his side to watch over us all. We will remember her laugh, her whit and her beauty as a person with a golden soul. There's a hole in our hearts that can only be filled with our memories of her. We are rallying around her beloved husband Patrick and his son Sean to gather all of our strengths to move forward in her honor. I feel blessed that she came into our lives and am proud to call her my daughter. She will be severely missed but she will never be forgotten. I can live with the void in my heart, but our world isn't as bright without her.
A portion of the proceeds will go directly to help Patrick maintain what they were both building for their new family and future.
Vanessa, WE LOVE YOU!!
Please share.
