My 5 year old border terrier Ralph was diagnosed with an eye condition. He spent the last 6 weeks receiving treatment of steroids, antibiotics and creams. We were on week 5 and on the road to recovery.

unfortunately this caused a huge shift in Ralph’s behaviour, becoming excessively hungry and showing signs of being depressed. This resulted in Ralph consuming fabric which got lodged in his digestive system.

he has been treated over the last two days and has since been taken in for emergency surgery as his gut has perforated.

Our insurance is now maxed out due to the eye treatment and this treatment for the blockage and will not cover the surgery. We will do anything in our power to give Ralph the best fighting chance. He is only 5 and has so much life left to live. I am on maternity leave which makes funds extra tight at home.
