House fire right before Christmas

Hello, my name is Nicole and I have setting up this fundraiser on behalf of my dad, Vladimir Espinosa.

On the night of December 22 a fire started in the storage of my dads home. As of currently there is an investigation for how the fire started as it currently is unknown. From the photos provided my dads way of making a living is gone. He is a passionate musician that plays all around Virginia and some connecting states. Unfortunately he is a percussionist and the fire took his instruments and the story connected to them.

A bit about my dad, he is originally from Havana Cuba where he earned a degree in the arts. Since moving to the U.S. he has played as an accompanist with Hollins University, and has been invited to play as an accompanist at the American Dance Festival, as well as played for Roanoke Ballet Theater. Not to mention, at many local and well known restaurants.

We ask that any help would go a long way to recover his livelihood and his whole life’s work that what was left in ashes. We believe with the help of the community we can hear him play once again.
