As most of you are aware by now, Jordan was airlifted to The Alfred Hospital After experiencing a head on collision with a tree 10kms south of St Arnaud Victoria, the morning of Wednesday the 10th of March 2021, she has since been in an induced coma.
Jordan is an 18yo strong, courageous, fun, loving outgoing person.
She had just completed year 12 and finally received her freedom of getting her P's.
She also just started her job of an apprentice carpenter, which has been one of her dream jobs.
We have a long recovery ahead of us as she has needed multiple surgeries with the extent of her injuries being:
- 2 broken vertebrates (on the spinal cord)
- 2 ruptures to her small intestine
- damage to the large intestine
- a broken femur.
So far since the accident she is stabilised, although this is going to be a long journey for all involved.
Jordan will now have to face one of her biggest life challenges to date with rehabilitation which will not be an easy ride for her.
This enormous life changing event now means she will require significant medical treatment, rehabilitation equipment, not to mention the ongoing support and care needed.
We would like to thank everyone for their support, love and kindness since the accident. We have just a small goal we are wanting to reach to be able to continue to support Jordan with her ongoing recovery to make things easier on her family so we are able to give her our undivided attention that we know will be needed without the worry of financial stress.
We have many changes and challenges that we will all face during this time.
We encourage any donations big or small.
We will also be taking any donations at The Rex Hotel, Victoria, Ararat, 3377.
Once again thank you from Jordan's family. All donations will be going directly to Jordan’s recovery.
Thankyou for your time and we will keep you updated on her recovery as the days go forth.
