This has been put together for JD by myself and Candi Satterfield. Please contact either of us with questions, concerns, or comments.
J.D is a great young man who has been forced to endure and overcome so many things. He has done so with grace and dignity. He never meets a stranger and greets everyone with a caring smile.
He has been through so much and faced every excuse to give up but has stood firm working two jobs while going to school . He lost his mom and biggest supporter to cancer a few years ago. Due to his age he was unable to play football this year but was at the games supporting his friends and his team. He spent his senior year helping with the special needs students. He was a stand out student who deserved to be recognized.
On the way to his graduation his car broke down. Instead of giving up he walked the rest of the way to graduation only to arrive late (before the students walked across the stage to accept their diplomas). When he arrived he was told by the faculty of Gaston High School that because he was late he would not be allowed to walk during graduation.
If anyone deserves a break it is JD. With this Go Fund Me we would like to raise enough money to get him a reliable car and cell phone.
Remember every little bit helps, if you cannot donate then please share this post to get the word out.
