They say that drum corps is something you cannot begin to describe. No matter the number of letters on a page, nothing comes close to the true beauty and challenge that is drum corps.
My name is Paige Meisenheimer and I am a Bluecoat. I've marched one season on Euphononium with the Bluecoats and I am happy to be marching again for my final age out year in 2015.
In 2013, I worked very dilligently to raise funds and I paid for my tour fees, camps, transportation and spring training on my own, but this year I will need a little more help than before.
I am working two jobs and I am a full time student at Illinois State University and although my emlpoyment has kept me afloat, and I am slowly accumulating the funds needed, the dedication to my schooling, bills, and pursuit of photography has set me back.
If you or a friend would like to donate to my final summer with the Bluecoats, I would be honored to have you as a sponsor.
I do understand that we are recouping from an adventurous Spring Break and we are all recovering from our quality family time, but any amount helps!
Lastly, I have made a promise to a very special sponsor, Walter Streiff, that when I am able to, I will be paying this forward. I will do my part in the future to support another Bluecoat, or a deserving member of another corps. There is no greater gift than the ability to follow your dreams.
