"In 2015, a man ran a red light and t-boned me, tipping my truck over. This accident resulted in more than 21 surgeries over the past 4 years;


45 total surgeries to date.


6 months ago, I lost bladder function due to a complete herniation of my L4/5 while I was working in Germany. I had an emergency surgery while there, and learned from the surgeon that the artificial discs placed in my neck had become defective.


The discs needed to be replaced ASAP.  


With prior commitments for my non-profit organization, Pearls with Purpose and Mentors International until December, I planned to have this disc replacement in 2020. 


Once again my body had a different idea. Uncontrollable migraines and vomiting began. Over the last 8 weeks, I have vomited multiple 
times a day and have bounced in and out of urgent cares with 
chronic migraines. My quality of life has decreased to the 
point where surgery is necessary. 


I simply want my life back. 


I spoke with the surgeon, based on my symptoms he has recommended surgery Monday, December 16th. I would not have chosen this journey, yet I remain hopeful. I am thankful for modern medicine and this surgeon who believes that surgery #46 will heal my body and chronic pain. 


But the price tag is $26,000. 


Because of the emergency situation with my low back in June, my financial reserves are depleted. Therefore, I am now asking for help to make my upcoming $26,000 surgery possible.
