This account has been created to raise money to help Cody Welborn with medical cost. He was recently diagnosed with metastatic adenocarcinoma of unknown origin. The current oncologist is thinking he has a very rare cancer of the bile duct that is very aggressive. He is scheduled to start treatment this week in Shreveport. Due to the inability to determine where the cancer originated makes it more difficult to treat. Cody’s best option is MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. MD Anderson has experience with this diagnosis and access to treatments and trials that are not available in Shreveport. Unfortunately at this time Cody’s insurance company and MD Anderson cannot come to an agreement to take him on as a patient. Any donations will contribute to medical cost for Cody.
